On February 12 and 13, 2026, the Colombia-India Pharmaceutical Sector Business Meeting and Business Roundtable 2026 took place, an event focused on strengthening trade relations between the two countries and promoting new opportunities for investment, cooperation, and growth in the pharmaceutical sector.
The event, held at the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce – Salitre Headquarters, brought together business leaders, strategic entities, and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry from Colombia and India in a space designed to foster high-impact business connections.
The initiative aimed to further consolidate India as a strategic partner for Colombia, promoting business exchange and facilitating optimal conditions for the development of binational business. Through business forums and business roundtables, opportunities were created for collaboration among companies, distributors, manufacturers, and partners in the health and pharmaceutical sectors.
During the event, approximately 700 business meetings took place between entrepreneurs from both countries, fostering strategic connections and commercial opportunities with an expected value of nearly US$1.5 billion.
The event featured the participation of more than 80 Indian companies and approximately 500 Colombian companies, strengthening a network of business relationships focused on innovation, development, and international expansion.
One of the most prominent segments was that of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) companies, which are fundamental to the production of medicines and the strengthening of the global pharmaceutical supply chain.
In addition, various organizations and strategic partners supported this business event, contributing to the strengthening of trade relations between Colombia and India and reaffirming the commitment to continue building bridges of international cooperation.
The Colombia-India Business Meeting 2026 resulted in new alliances, strategic connections, and positive prospects for the growth of the pharmaceutical sector in both countries.
