DEFINITIONS<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cb40a8f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"cb40a8f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ol><li><p data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1330\">a) <strong data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1212\">Authorization:<\/strong> Prior, express, and informed consent granted by the Data Subject for the Controller to process their personal data.<\/p><p data-start=\"1332\" data-end=\"1554\">b) <strong data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1354\">Privacy Notice:<\/strong> Verbal or written communication generated by the Controller, informing the Data Subject about the existence of personal data processing policies, how to access them, and the purposes of processing.<\/p><p data-start=\"1556\" data-end=\"1707\">c) <strong data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1572\">Database:<\/strong> An organized set of personal data subject to processing, regardless of the storage medium, whether physical, electronic, or digital.<\/p><p data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1842\">d) <strong data-start=\"1712\" data-end=\"1730\">Personal Data:<\/strong> Any information linked or that can be associated with one or more identified or identifiable natural persons.<\/p><p data-start=\"1844\" data-end=\"2102\">e) <strong data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"1863\">Public Data:<\/strong> Data that is not semi-private, private, or sensitive. Public data includes, among others, data related to marital status, profession or occupation, and status as a merchant or public servant, as well as data contained in public records.<\/p><p data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2257\">f) <strong data-start=\"2107\" data-end=\"2124\">Private Data:<\/strong> Data that due to its intimate or reserved nature is only relevant to the Data Subject and whose processing requires authorization.<\/p><p data-start=\"2259\" data-end=\"2453\">g) <strong data-start=\"2262\" data-end=\"2284\">Semi-Private Data:<\/strong> Data that is not intimate, reserved, or public, whose knowledge or disclosure may be of interest both to the Data Subject and to a specific sector or group of people.<\/p><p data-start=\"2455\" data-end=\"2773\">h) <strong data-start=\"2458\" data-end=\"2477\">Sensitive Data:<\/strong> Data affecting the privacy of the Data Subject or whose misuse may lead to discrimination, such as data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, health data, sexual life, or biometric data. Providing this data is optional.<\/p><p data-start=\"2775\" data-end=\"2940\">i) <strong data-start=\"2778\" data-end=\"2797\">Data Processor:<\/strong> A natural or legal person, public or private, that processes personal data on behalf of the Controller, in accordance with its instructions.<\/p><p data-start=\"2942\" data-end=\"3082\">j) <strong data-start=\"2945\" data-end=\"2965\">Data Controller:<\/strong> A natural or legal person, public or private, that decides on the database and\/or the processing of personal data.<\/p><p data-start=\"3084\" data-end=\"3171\">k) <strong data-start=\"3087\" data-end=\"3104\">Data Subject:<\/strong> The natural person whose personal data is subject to processing.<\/p><p data-start=\"3173\" data-end=\"3340\">l) <strong data-start=\"3176\" data-end=\"3191\">Processing:<\/strong> Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, circulation, transmission, transfer, or deletion.<\/p><p data-start=\"3342\" data-end=\"3544\">m) <strong data-start=\"3345\" data-end=\"3379\">Transmission of Personal Data:<\/strong> Processing that involves communicating personal data, within or outside the national territory, so that a Data Processor processes it on behalf of the Controller.<\/p><p data-start=\"3546\" data-end=\"3726\">n) <strong data-start=\"3549\" data-end=\"3579\">Transfer of Personal Data:<\/strong> Sending personal data by the Controller or Processor to a third party acting as Controller and located within or outside the national territory.<\/p><p data-start=\"3728\" data-end=\"3969\">o) <strong data-start=\"3731\" data-end=\"3747\">Habeas Data:<\/strong> The fundamental right of every person to know, update, rectify, and delete information collected about them in databases or files, as well as to revoke authorization granted for its processing, under the terms of the law.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d2a2093 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"d2a2093\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">4. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA AND PURPOSES<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0f4099a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"0f4099a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"4029\" data-end=\"4274\">The Colombia-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry may collect, store, use, circulate, and delete personal data, with prior authorization from the Data Subject, for legitimate purposes related to the development of its institutional activities.<\/p><p data-start=\"4276\" data-end=\"4347\">In general, personal data will be processed for the following purposes:<\/p><ol><li><p data-start=\"4349\" data-end=\"4573\">a) Managing the institutional relationship and development of Chamber activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control of events, programs, initiatives, and other actions related to its corporate purpose.<\/p><p data-start=\"4575\" data-end=\"4787\">b) Facilitating institutional communication and sending information, content, and materials related to the activities, services, and projects developed by the Chamber, before, during, and after their execution.<\/p><p data-start=\"4789\" data-end=\"4950\">c) Evaluating, improving, and strengthening the quality of services and activities through information analysis, participant feedback, and results measurement.<\/p><p data-start=\"4952\" data-end=\"5130\">d) Promoting participation and engagement of individuals and legal entities in the Chamber\u2019s activities, programs, and services, as well as in future institutional initiatives.<\/p><p data-start=\"5132\" data-end=\"5431\">e) Documenting and disseminating institutional activities through photographic, audiovisual, and other records for archiving, dissemination, communication, and historical memory purposes, respecting image rights, authorship, and intellectual property, without generating any economic compensation.<\/p><p data-start=\"5433\" data-end=\"5705\">f) Transmitting personal data to national or international data processors when necessary for Chamber activities, technological support, event logistics, or service provision, under agreements guaranteeing confidentiality, security, and limited use according to the law.<\/p><p data-start=\"5707\" data-end=\"5986\">g) Transferring personal data to national or international third-party controllers when necessary for the Chamber\u2019s corporate purpose, alliances, agreements, joint activities, or legal obligations, subject to legal requirements and, when applicable, Data Subject authorization.<\/p><p data-start=\"5988\" data-end=\"6180\">h) Preparing analyses, reports, statistics, and internal reports necessary for decision-making, institutional management, and compliance with legal, statutory, or administrative obligations.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p>Additionally, the Chamber processes personal data according to authorized purposes, defined based on the type of relationship with the entity, as follows:<\/p><p><strong>4.1. Members, Affiliates, and Institutional Participants<\/strong><\/p><p>Personal data of affiliates, members, strategic allies, and regular participants are processed to:<\/p><ol><li data-start=\"6508\" data-end=\"6576\"><p data-start=\"6510\" data-end=\"6576\">Manage institutional, commercial, and cooperation relationships.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6577\" data-end=\"6636\"><p data-start=\"6579\" data-end=\"6636\">Maintain updated affiliation and participation records.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6637\" data-end=\"6708\"><p data-start=\"6639\" data-end=\"6708\">Send institutional, commercial, academic, and relevant information.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6709\" data-end=\"6816\"><p data-start=\"6711\" data-end=\"6816\">Organize and manage participation in events, committees, meetings, trade missions, and business rounds.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6817\" data-end=\"6877\"><p data-start=\"6819\" data-end=\"6877\">Conduct networking and relationship-building activities.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6878\" data-end=\"6933\"><p data-start=\"6880\" data-end=\"6933\">Prepare internal reports, statistics, and analyses.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"6934\" data-end=\"7022\"><p data-start=\"6936\" data-end=\"7022\">Comply with legal, statutory, accounting, administrative, and reporting obligations.<\/p><\/li><\/ol><p><strong>4.2.
